We're all about the PEACE!
Residents of retirement communities can enjoy regular visits from Ken and one of his soft and warm feathery friends.
It is well documented that animals reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and warm hearts. With doves, their pure white feathers and 108 degree body temperatures make for an extra special encounter!
Folks can chat with Ken and pet the dove, or hold it themselves, since we have made a special vest so it can be held without fear of flying away or having an accident.

"Oh, I love you
I love you I love you!" ** ** to the bird, not Ken :) |
"It's so warm!" |
"I never thought I'd ever actually get to touch a dove."

I can't say enough about the wonderful connection Ken has with our residents. Having the therapy dove monthly and Ken's expertise in working with our dementia residents is amazing to watch. We are blessed to have you! - Aimi, Vincentian Marian Manor
Birds are very clean and carry the same risk of disease as other domesticated animals (dogs and cats).
Animal interactions are proven to be physically and emotionally therapeutic.
